About Neal Ajamian

Hello fellow Cisco crazers,

I spent most of my technical years as a Windows admin with a heavy concentration in MS networking.  I always wanted to branch into the world of Cisco but “never had the time” (as adults, we learn that this is a euphemism for “irresponsible”).  After years of abusing my knees via mountain biking, I landed myself in my living room recliner post knee surgery.  I decided then that it was time for a change, and that change was Cisco.  I purchased the books, lab gear and began to drink the Cisco Kool-Aid.

As a MS monkey, the CCIE seemed like a writing of Greek mythology and I had no intention of perusing it.  After completing the CCNA, I tucked my tail between my legs and began the CCNP.  The CCNP was the toughest hurdle I have ever encountered (mainly because I am self-educated and had to purchase all my own gear and instructional material).

Boy-oh-boy do times change…. I used to think that obtaining a CCIE credential was only for the elite, and it may be, however unlike before I know that I will complete this achievement!  I want it so bad I can taste it!  Passing the NP has taught me that making your dreams come true is only limited to the amount of effort you are willing to invest in them.  Oh yeah, did I mention that I am now an employee of Cisco 😉

Now that I withered your patience away to what now resembles a thin strand of thread please continue on to my blog 😉
